Since the early 1920s, Kohler has established a reputation for providing dependable power endurance under adverse conditions in several differenct industries on a global basis. Today, the Kohler Global Power Group encompasses generators, engines and rental power.

Kohler Engines
Kohler Co.’s engine division, in operation since the 1920s, manufactures air- and liquid-cooled, four-cycle gasoline engines in the 4- to 38- horsepower range. Kohler® engines are supplied to equipment manufacturers worldwide in the lawn and garden, commercial and industrial, agricultural and construction markets. Kohler manufactures its engines from three North American facilities and one facility, as part of a joint-venture agreement in China.

Lombardini, Srl
Lombardini Srl, headquartered in Reggio Emilia, Italy, manufactures small diesel, gas, and petrol engines for the industrial, transportation, agriculture, marine and light-construction industries. The Lombardini diesel and gasoline engine lines range from 3 to 72 horsepower. Kohler Co. acquired Lombardini in June 2007 to complement the existing KOHLER engine business by adding a complete diesel engine line to serve the needs of commercial and consumer customers worldwide.

Kohler Power Systems
Providing power solutions to the industrial, mobile, residential and marine markets, Kohler Power Systems is an established generator manufacturer respected worldwide. KOHLER® generator sets are available in models ranging from 4 kW marine generators to 2800 kW industrial generators. KOHLER generators manage the electrical requirements of homeowners, hospitals, boaters, semis, cellular phone towers and other facilities in critical situations. As part of its complete power solutions offerings, Kohler Power Systems also provides automatic transfer switches, switchgear, monitoring controls and accessories.

SDMO
Founded in 1966, SDMO is a premium manufacturer of industrial generators up to 2800 kW for production and standby use and gasoline- and diesel-powered portable consumer generator sets. SDMO supports various mission-critical industries including telecommunications, the military, manufacturing, healthcare and offshore purposes. SDMO was acquired by Kohler Co. in 2005.

BES
BES (Béalas Energie Services, SA) is a leader in generator set maintenance throughout France, providing 24/7 coverage from its eight branch offices.

SOREEL
From its two plants in France, SOREEL manufactures electrical control panels and automation consoles to support the generator market.

Kohler Rental Power
Kohler Rental, which provides temporary power, climate control and luxury restrooms to the industrial, commercial, disaster recovery and event markets throughout the U.S., has six offices and more than 80 service locations throughout the U.S.
